Wild for Salmon is proud to be a 1% for the Planet member through a Wildly Devoted campaign. With our Wildly Devoted program, 1% of each dollar you spend on our wild seafood is dedicated to protecting salmon habitat. The funds collected through the program are
donated to partner organizations working to protect fish ecosystems, like Trout Unlimited. We have been part of 1% for the Planet since 2019.

We celebrate Earth Day every day - or, every purchase! We love helping people appreciate the goodness of wild foods from clean water and pristine habitat. We honor that through giving back to the environment. This year, we are celebrating even further by offering a 10% off discount on our wild sockeye salmon, fillets or portions. And with a few limited edition T-shirts!

The history of Wildly Devoted

The Wildly Devoted program is what the whole team is most proud of here at Wild for Salmon. As our returning customers know, our dedication to wild salmon has evolved right alongside our business. Many of our most consistent customers have donated significant amounts with their purchases to protecting clean water. Thank you!

Our commitment to wild seafood began with wild places. First, it was simply a decision to return and experience the epic return of the salmon to Bristol Bay, Alaska each summer. Soon it became about investing in the fishery. Steve captained a boat then bought a permit in 2004 and continued to fish hard.

Then, we were able to bring the nourishing product we believed in back to our home in central Pennsylvania. Sharing the wild sockeye salmon we caught ourselves has allowed us to help cherish and protect these wild places. And now, it allows us to donate back to the hardworking people and organizations making sure wild salmon habitat remains protected forever. We continue to encourage people to vote with their fork. All in the name of wild salmon.

Join us for Earth Day 2021

This Earth Day, we are proud to celebrate Wildly Devoted and our membership at 1% for the Planet. Currently, only 3% of total philanthropy goes to the environment, and only 3% of that comes from businesses. Our Wildy Devoted partnership with Trout Unlimited feels stronger knowing it is part of this global network of like-minded businesses increasing that percentage.
