Prep/Line Cook

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour

Job description: Availability Monday-Saturday, 6 AM - 6 PM required for up to 8-hour shifts. Saturdays required. Immediate need is for part-time, with full-time available to some who shows reliability and good attendance.

Job Summary:

Wild for Salmon Café is looking for individuals who are passionate about seafood. Our café provides a small menu for dine-in and take-out, along with ready-to-go items for our Wild for Salmon store.

Job Duties / Skills Needed:

• Communicate well with others
• Standing for long periods of time (8-10 hours)
• Must be motivated to work independently and efficiently to complete tasks in a timely manner
• Work well under pressure to maintain a fast pace
• Operate standard kitchen equipment.
• Follow recipes and directions and document daily production
• Maintain a clean and organized station and adhere to safety and sanitation standards
• Make sure all items are wrapped, labeled, and stored properly throughout shift
• Responsible for properly cleaning kitchen and equipment throughout and at the end of each shift
• Dish porter duties to fill in vacant shifts one day a week (additional as needed for days off)

Experience:

1 year of culinary experience preferred.

The pay rate listed is the starting range. Tips are in addition to the listed rate.
