Wild for Salmon is extremely fortunate to work with some excellent companies who take our salmon and produce other delicious products. Let us introduce you to Fasta & Ravioli Co! the creators behind this pan-seared salmon with orange, roasted pecans with triple sec glaze.

  • Wild Alaska Sockeye Salmon Portions
  • 1 orange “separated” (peeled and trimmed into pieces)
  • 1 orange for juicing
  • ½ cup toasted pecans
  • ¾ cup triple sec
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Salt & pepper to taste 

Instructions

  1. Season salmon with salt and pepper to taste, a light sprinkle should do!
  2.  Sautée salmon, just a few minutes each side, remove to rest
  3. Add pecans to pan and sautée. Soon as they start to toast (can you smell them?) add oranges to the pan. Sautée for 2 minutes.
  4. Deglaze the pan with Triple Sec. Careful! It will flame. 
  5. Reduce to a nice syrup with just about another minute of heat. 
  6. Plate filets and finish with oranges and pecan glaze
